Common questions.
- What does managed IT actually mean?
- It means we proactively monitor and manage your systems rather than waiting for something to break. Issues get caught early, updates get applied, and you're not the one who notices when something goes wrong.
- Do you work onsite or remotely?
- Mostly remote. Cloud-first systems mean most things can be handled without being in the room. That said, we're Calgary-based and can come onsite when the situation actually calls for it.
- How does pricing work?
- For ongoing management, pricing is negotiated per user or per managed device, depending on what fits your setup. Hardware and one-off work are quoted separately. For project-based work, we quote per engagement.
- How quickly do you respond?
- Same business day for support requests. For clients on a managed plan, your systems are monitored 24/7 so automated alerts flag issues around the clock. You're not waiting for someone to notice.
- What size of business do you work with?
- We don't have a minimum. If you need reliable IT and want it handled properly, we can work with you, whether that's five people or fifty.
- Do you only do full managed IT, or can I hire you for a specific project?
- Both. Some clients are on full ongoing management and monitoring. Others bring us in for a specific project: a migration, a new office setup, a security review. We scope it based on what you actually need.
