Who we are

BITS MSP is a Calgary, Alberta-based managed IT services provider operating at bitsmsp.net. The owner of BITS MSP is responsible for privacy compliance and can be reached at hello@bitsmsp.net.

This policy applies to bitsmsp.net only and does not extend to any other services or platforms operated by BITS MSP.

Information we collect

We collect only the information necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Contact form submissions. When you use the contact form on our site, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), and message. By submitting the form, you consent to the collection and use of this information as described here.

Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how our site is used. This service collects aggregate data such as page views and general traffic patterns. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal information.

How we use your information

Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry and support any resulting business relationship. We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your consent.

How we share your information

We do not sell personal information.

Resend. Contact form submissions are relayed through Resend, Inc., a United States-based email delivery service. Resend acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. Data is transmitted through and briefly processed in the United States. As a result, it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities under US law. Cloudflare. Website traffic data is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) under their privacy policy. The contact form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to detect automated submissions; see Turnstile's privacy policy.

Security

We protect personal information with security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including secure transmission and access controls.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained indefinitely as part of our business records. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting hello@bitsmsp.net and we will remove it promptly.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting hello@bitsmsp.net. We will respond within 45 days.

If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta at oipc.ab.ca.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
